Do we still have to run our own bid?
No. The cooperative conducts the formal, competitive solicitation once. Member agencies then purchase against the awarded contract without running a separate bid — which is the core time savings of cooperative purchasing. Your procurement team should confirm internal policy and document the cooperative contract number on the purchase order.
